WordPress & Sitemap Checklist

Before Building

Create all 15 pages in WordPress as drafts (Pages → Add New) with correct slugs
Set parent pages: Safety, Energy, How It Works → parent: Why Integra
Set parent pages: Standard Mechanism, Low Offset, Aegis Fabrics → parent: Products
Set parent pages: ASTM F1346 Explained, FAQ → parent: Resources
Set Homepage as static front page (Settings → Reading → Static Page → Homepage)
Create the main nav menu (Appearance → Menus) using the table above
Upload all images from Build folders to Media Library (or upload per-page as you build)

After Building Each Page

Set Rank Math / Yoast SEO title, meta description, focus keyword (in build guide)
Set featured image
Verify all internal links point to correct pages (not placeholder URLs)
Check mobile preview in Avada Builder

After All Pages Are Live

Regenerate XML sitemap (Rank Math → Sitemap Settings → regenerate)
Add all new URLs to sitemap (should happen automatically if pages are published)
Submit updated sitemap to Google Search Console
Verify no old/deleted page URLs return 404 — set up 301 redirects if needed
Test all nav dropdown links on desktop and mobile
Test Contact form submission
Run Lighthouse audit on Homepage for performance baseline

Recommended Build Order

Start with pages that other pages link to most, so internal links work as you build.

Total estimated: ~7-8 hours focused build time
